Friday Night Lights is almost here!

Friday Night Light Schedule:

5pm Gates Open
Fun Field on Stumptown DJs Field
Team Photos (your coach will let you know your time slot)
 5:45-6:15Opening Ceremonies on Stumptown DJs Field
Star Spangled Banner performed by members of the Ockley Green Middle School Band
First Pitch thrown out by Portland Parks Director Adena Long
 6:20 Fun Field resumes on Stumptown DJs Field
Team Photos resume (your coach will let you know your time slot)
 6:30-8:30 Majors Softball Blaze vs. Volts on Bashor's Field
Majors Baseball Yankees vs. Rockies on Roosevelt JBO Field
Minors Softball Talons vs. Blaze on Firelight Yoga Field
Minors Baseball Giants vs. Phillies on North End Barber Field




Friday Night Lights need-to-knows:

 
  • Arrive with your player in uniform, including game shirt, pants, socks, and hat, as instructed by your coach.
 
  • Gates open at 5:00 pm.  Arrive early for some time on the fun field before the opening ceremony begins!   Please arrive with your player by 5:30 pm.
 
  • Players will begin to assemble with their teams at 5:30 pm.  Each team will be introduced and will run onto the field during the ceremony!
 
  • Activities on the fun field include an inflated obstacle course, wiffle ball games, temporary tattoos, hair chalk, and more!
 
  • Your coach will let you know the time lot when your team photos are scheduled.
 
 
  • Friday Night Lights will go on rain or shine!

Despite a little bit of rain and a lot of mud, we were able to successfully enjoy the fun field, opening ceremonies, and the first four games of the 2024 season!
